Warehouse Associate

Job Overview

You’ll be part of the Feldpausch Precision Services team that gets orders ready for customers. Our fast-paced, physical roles include supplier/carrier management, on demand ordering, customer returns, and inventory of goods. You will be selecting, packing, and shipping orders for delivery services. You’ll assist with seasonal field testing on products that we sell.

Duties & Responsibilities

● Receive and stock inventory

● Prepare and pack customer orders

● Load and unload boxes into trucks from shipments

● Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts

● Lift up to 49 pounds

● Troubleshoot inventory and parts equipment problems as they arise

● Operate power forklift or pallet jack (equipment training provided as necessary)

● Minimal out of state supplier training may be required

Installation Technician – Fowler, MI

Feldpausch Precision Services is your local planting & seeding equipment repair and parts provider. We consult with growers to determine the best precision ag farm equipment solution for their individual needs.

About this position:

We’re looking for an installation technician with 5 years’ experience working with Agricultural equipment to install new products and troubleshoot any installation issues as they arise. This position is working directly with customers providing them quality service as we repair and install new equipment and is a great opportunity for an individual who has a passion for not only installing equipment but working with customer to give recommendations and help them best understand equipment uses and functionalities.

Position Hours:

Monday – Friday

8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. but we also offer flexible start times to support a healthy work/life balance

Job Requirements:

·5 years’ experience with installing and troubleshooting equipment, preferably in Agriculture

·Previous experience operating heavy equipment

·Strong customer service and communication skills to teach customers how to use products to get the best possible return on investment

·Must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record and be able to safely operate heavy machinery

Meter Technician

About Us

Feldpausch Precision Services is an authorized Precision Planting dealer serving row-crop growers across mid-Michigan. We help farmers get the most out of their planting and application equipment through precision ag hardware, software, and with hands-on support.

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented part-time Meter Technician to join our shop team. The person in this role is responsible for testing, calibrating, servicing, and rebuilding seed meters (vSet, eSet, and similar Precision Planting meter systems as well as OEM) to ensure they meet accuracy standards before going back into the field. You’ll work closely with our sales and service team to support growers during the critical pre-planting season and throughout the year.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, inspect, clean, and rebuild seed meters using manufacturer specs
  • Test meter performance on calibration/test stands and verify singulation accuracy
  • Diagnose and repair worn or damaged meter components
  • Maintain accurate service records for each unit, including parts used and work performed
  • Identify and order replacement parts, keeping inventory accurate
  • Communicate with customers on meter condition, recommended repairs, and turnaround times
  • Support in-season field calibration and troubleshooting as needed
  • Follow shop safety procedures and keep your work area organized

Qualifications

  • Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with small engines, ag equipment, or precision machinery preferred
  • Familiarity with Precision Planting products (vSet, eSet, 20/20 SeedSense) a plus, but not required — we’ll train the right person
  • Comfortable using hand tools, basic test equipment, and shop computers
  • Strong attention to detail; comfortable working in tight tolerances
  • Good communication skills for working with customers and teammates
  • Ability to manage workload independently and efficeintly

 

Requirements: 

  • Valid driver’s license and transportation 
  • Be able to routinely lift 49lbs
  • The ability to stand for long periods of time

 

Preferred Experience

  • Background in ag equipment service, diesel/ag mechanics, or a related technical field
  • Prior experience with seed meter rebuilds or precision planting technology
  • Familiarity with row-crop farming operations
